Diana DiLiberti
I’m a dedicated mechanical engineer with 1.5 years of interdisciplinary experience. I worked on various projects across the manufacturing, consumer products, and defense industries. Through Northeastern University, I held co-ops with Hasbro Inc. and Endeavor Robotics (now FLIR Systems). My supervisors have recognized me for my readiness to learn and my ability to adapt to critique. I’m looking to explore electro-mechanical devices in a collaborative environment.
Some notable projects I’ve worked on include:
pitching a servo-model concept to Hasbro’s Furreal brand team
designing a PCB test rig for Endeavor’s (now FLIR UGS) Scorpion UGV
making an animatronic séance table for my university's production of The Blithe Spirit
simulating, prototyping, and testing a drive-through farm gate

Work Experience

Systems Engineering Intern
Endeavor Robotics
July - Dec. 2018
Designed a motor PCB test rig for the Scroption UGV, fabricating 3 rigs used throughout system builds
Improved the SpeedTrap test fixture, eliminating false readings and reducing set-up time by 50%
Evaluated robot builds for over 50 system requirements and documented test results to a Confluence archive

Animatronics Co-op
Hasbro Inc.
July - Dec. 2017
Developed a product concept, programmed an and led a 60-minute pitch meeting with the FurReal team
Optimized part design using FEA software, decreasing weight by 30% while maintaining part durability within 5%
Collaborated in a small team to develop a product, build a prototype, and present to upper management in 4-months
Fabricated a proof-of-concept prototype in 1-week for the NERF team to use in an internal tech demo
Milling Department Co-op
Roberts Machine Shop
June - Dec. 2016
Manufactured an average of 50 parts a day and inspected them for precision and accuracy to client specifications
Operated up to 4 CNC milling machines, optimizing production to boost efficiency and reduce machine cooldown
Programmed CNC milling machines using G-Code to create parts based on client provided CAD drawings
